Adam Veysey
With more than 25 years of experience in travel and sports marketing, Adam has worked across both corporate and entrepreneurial environments. As co-founder and Managing Director of Explore More Travel, he focuses on the overall direction of the business, business development and growing the company’s international markets.
An avid golfer and mountain biker, Adam would happily spend most of his free time on safari. He is passionate about showcasing South Africa as a world-class golf and safari destination while encouraging travellers to discover the many other experiences Southern Africa has to offer.
Warren Weitsz
Warren has spent close to two decades in the travel industry and combines that experience with a genuine love of South Africa, golf and the outdoors. As co-founder of Explore More Travel, he is closely involved in international marketing, operations and the growth of the company’s specialist golf and PGA Pro travel business.
A keen golfer, trail runner, surfer and open-water swimmer, Warren has personally experienced many of South Africa’s leading golf courses and loves introducing travellers to the country’s golf, wine and safari experiences. A guitar has also been known to make its way into his luggage.
Nikola Macdonald
With a background spanning tourism operations, sales, marketing and business management, Nikola oversees the day-to-day running of Explore More Travel. She works closely with the team, suppliers and partners to keep the business organised, efficient and focused on delivering a high standard of service.
She has a particular interest in improving systems, developing the team and making sure the details behind every journey are properly taken care of. A lifelong lover of travel, Nikola is especially drawn to safari, photography and discovering unique experiences and adventures across Southern Africa.
Nadine Abrahams
Nadine’s tourism career started after studying Tourism and completing a Travel Bootcamp programme, where her hard work and natural ability quickly stood out. Since joining Explore More Travel, she has developed into a knowledgeable and detail-focused consultant who takes pride in making sure her travellers are well looked after.
She loves discovering more of South Africa, learning about new destinations and finding the experiences that make each trip different. Outside of work, Nadine enjoys cooking, baking and long scenic drives.
Karen Joy Hope
Karen brings extensive experience across travel and hospitality, together with a genuine passion for personal service. She enjoys getting to know her travellers and helping them experience South Africa in a way that feels welcoming, meaningful and suited to them.
For Karen, travel is about more than simply visiting a destination. She loves helping guests create the kind of experiences they will want to share with family and return to in years to come. She also has a strong interest in community development and upliftment.
Linray O’Leary
Linray has worked in tourism since 2015, building experience across reservations, lodge management, marketing and travel trade events. Having worked both behind the scenes and directly with guests, she brings a practical understanding of what it takes to create a well-planned journey and a great travel experience.
Originally from Muizenberg, Linray loves the balance of Cape Town’s beaches and mountains. Her tourism experience, local knowledge and attention to detail all play a part in the itineraries she creates for Explore More Travel.
Melissa Oberholzer
Melissa entered the travel industry more than 20 years ago almost by chance and never looked back. After working across several areas of travel, she found her niche in designing bespoke African safaris and tailor-made journeys.
She loves getting to know her travellers and building trips around the experiences that matter most to them. Whether it is a honeymoon safari, a golf holiday or an island escape, Melissa still enjoys introducing international guests to the landscapes, wildlife and experiences that make Africa such a rewarding destination.
Sumaya Dalwai
Growing up on South Africa’s West Coast gave Sumaya an early love of travel, adventure and exploring new places. At Explore More Travel, she brings that energy into the organisation and administration behind our group travel, helping keep the many moving parts together.
Sumaya is naturally curious and always learning something new. When she is not planning her next adventure, she enjoys baking, creating, reading and spending time at the beach. Her bucket list has a habit of getting longer every time she ticks something off.
Hadjirah Khan
Hadjirah joined Explore More Travel in 2024 and supports the team with the organisation, administration and booking details that keep our itineraries moving. Her role involves working behind the scenes to make sure information is organised and the practical details are taken care of.
Outside of work, Hadjirah enjoys solo travel, spending time at the beach, trying new cuisines and escaping into a good book. Her international travel list is steadily growing, and she is looking forward to ticking off many more destinations.
Tamzyn Thomas
Tamzyn is responsible for keeping Explore More Travel’s systems and operational processes running efficiently behind the scenes. Her role includes managing system information and rate loading, supporting day-to-day operations and working closely with the team to make sure everyone is using the latest processes, tools and technology effectively.
She plays an important role in keeping information accurate, systems up to date and workflows consistent, while also helping the team adapt as new technology and processes are introduced. Her focus is always on making sure the systems support the team properly and help the business work smarter.
Miriam Vaughan
Originally from Yorkshire in the UK, Miriam relocated to South Africa with her family ten years ago. With a background in physiotherapy, her career took an unexpected turn into finance, and she now looks after the numbers behind the scenes at Explore More Travel.
While she may spend more time with spreadsheets than itineraries, Miriam loves being part of a team that introduces travellers from around the world to South Africa. With three young boys, family holidays often involve camping, exploring the Western Cape and beyond, with the occasional trip back to Europe.
